Accessing
Service

Children and youth with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, from a qualified professional will be eligible for the OAP up until the age of 18.

Families will experience a single point of entry for autism services. This means that families will only need to call one number to register for the Ontario Autism Program in each of the nine service regions.

In the Toronto Region families can contact Surrey Place Centre at 416-925-5141, extension 2289, to access services for their children and youth as part of the single point of access. General inquiries about the new Ontario Autism Program can be directed to Surrey Place Centre at 416-925-5141, extension 2700, or the Ministry of Children and Youth Services at 1-888-444-4530 and oap@ontario.ca.
